Methodology & Transparency

This page describes how the TradeInsider score, ratings, and price targets are intended to be calculated. Note: the Intelligence feature is still in preparation — the methodology described here is a draft and not yet finalized.

TradeInsider Score (0–100)

The score combines five categories with the following preliminary weighting:

Meaning of the score bands

The score is a summary indicator, not a probability and not a guarantee of success.

BUY/HOLD/SELL

Possible definition (analysis horizon: 12 months):

BUYerwartetes Kurspotenzial > +15 %
HOLDzwischen -10 % und +15 %
SELLunter -10 %

Price targets

Price targets are intended to result from a combination of several models, including:

  • Discounted cash flow model (DCF)
  • Multiples comparison with peer companies
  • Third-party analyst estimates

Three scenarios are shown: Bear Case, Base Case, Bull Case.

Data sources and data status

Each analysis states its data sources, data status, analysis date, and publication time separately (see the Transparency & Disclosure block for each analysis). Update intervals and the specific methodology version are also stated there.

Limitations of the methodology

Automatically calculated scores and ratings can be wrong, especially with incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate input data. They do not replace your own due diligence or individual investment advice.
